| Internet Safety for Children: What Future Teachers Need to Know | | On 4 June 2010, the YCDL Center of Pskov State Pedagogical University held a seminar in children’s online safety for 4th year math and physics majors. Students looked at various aspects of ensuring Internet safety for young learners in and out of school, during computer science classes and while working online independently, since these have been some of the primary concerns reported by future teachers as they conducted their first classes during teaching practice in local schools. During the seminar its participants developed a series of extracurricular events for training elementary, middle and high school students in Internet safety skills.
