The Saratov State University for Social and Economic Studies started training its staff and faculty members to be Your Course: Digital Literacy trainers.
The seminar for future trainers was held by Galina Sumina, the coordinator of the University’s digital literacy center. The group consisted of IT specialists from Saratov Regional Resource Center who already have experience in working with adults. The group was led through the Digital Literacy course in Computer Basics, with the future trainers actively commenting on the specific nature of interactive learning as well as the logic and structure of the module. The seminar facilitators hope that by training qualified trainers they will provide a necessary basis for organizing and supporting a wide network of digital literacy training courses throughout Saratov region.
